As an avid art and culinary focused traveler, I could not recommend this more! Meeting local artists, hearing about their projects, civic engagements, touring their maker spaces, and being invited into their community for an afternoon was an insightful and inspiring experience.

Defne was an amazing host. From her first welcoming Hello, she made us feel comfortable and at home. She had put a lot of effort into cooking and preparing authentic dishes. With each dish came an explanation of her culture and we felt very open to ask her anything.

She walked me through two recipes and then we shared a delicious meal in the garden. Defne has a wealth of local and culinary knowledge to share which made this experience really special.
